Responsibilities:

As a Midwifery Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing midwifery training activities according to the approved plan. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive curricula, schedules, and training plans for both theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Elevating the knowledge and skills of trainees through effective supervision during theoretical and practical work.
  • Crafting examination questions for weekly, monthly, and final assessments.
  • Preparing lesson plans for individual sessions and generating progress reports for sharing with the GNI Focal Point.
  • Facilitating practical training sessions at hospitals for trainee midwives.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Minimum one year of teaching or training experience in midwifery, either with a recognized university/institute or a national/international organization.
  • Willingness to work in the field/clinical site.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Pashto and Dari (English proficiency is an advantage).
  • Computer proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
